A BIT ABOUT THE STUDIO....

The studio is nestled in the hills
of the southern tier of NY above
beautiful Hemlock lake. Inspiration,
beauty and tranquility abound ~ a
perfect setting for students who
seek a total creative experience!

Only 30-40 minutes from Rochester NY
from the north or Corning NY from the south
the studio is a reasonable drive from Buffalo,
Syracuse and Ithaca.

In this nature filled setting students feel
as tho they are 'truly imersed in
nature and art' during class sessions!

Within the finger lakes wine district
the studio is a mere 10 minute
walk from Hemlock lake. Near the studio
my 'frog pond' and various pieces
of outside art set amid the 3 acres

TEMPEST IN A TEACUP Micro-Classes!

This offering continues to be exceedingly
popular/requested, so I'm offering it again!

Be it in glass, jewelry design, business or
marketing there's often one or two things that
vex the artist and /or business person!
TEMPEST IN A TEACUP sessions are a
class offering I designed
10 years ago to give my student the opportunity
to spend time - one to one at the studio with me -
unraveling their specific  problem and then
exploring various solutions that will work best for
them towards a long term solution!

"TEMPEST" classes can be as short as one hour/one session
or several hours or multiple sessions based solely on
what the student needs.
Email me and we'll chat about what tempest is brewing
in YOUR teacup, lol and custom design a class/classes
to meet your needs and budget!

The classes I offer each year at my studio are numerous and varied in content. Certain classes provide a specific agenda of techniques and skill set(s) while others are designed to teach one specific technique OR address specific skill challenges. The offerings vary to a degree each year ~ and if I listed everything I have/am/will be offering I'd no doubt put you to sleep :-) So below you'll find a brief outline of SPECIALITY classes and details.

CLOSING THOUGHTS
________________________

I'm a second generation glass worker,
apprenticed via my father David Davis
who has worked glass both scientific
and artistic for 55 years.
If you've ever seen either of us
'at the torch' you know
the passion we have personally
and collectively for the art of
lampworking glass
is extreme.

First time....

or lifetime....

time at the torch...

is always a wonderful experience!

Warm regards!
